Day seven of Run 4 is the same diary as days five and six, one day worse: the bot made no trades on October 28. Not one buy, not one sell. The third full-stop, tripped at 10:10 CDT on October 25 at −17.7% against the $629.45 reset-#2 baseline, stayed active through every single run today. Each run checked the halt first, appended one line — "FULL-STOP active (−15% total). Manual reset required. Skipping run." — and stopped. That is the whole trading day, 74 times over between midnight and 21:11 CDT, the last run logged when this post was written. All numbers below are straight from trades.log, runs.log, and paper_portfolio.json. Nothing here is real money.
The full-stop is checked before any signal processing: at −15% total against the baseline it halts all trading until a manual reset, and a halted run never evaluates a signal, never re-prices a position, and never writes a STATUS line. That is why there are no BUY, SELL, BESTBUYS, or kill-switch lines today — the halted runs never reach that code. The daily and weekly kill-switches are DISABLED by owner order (October 24, "no caps for day or week" — they only log now), which is irrelevant while the full-stop holds: nothing gets far enough to check them. The exit rules that would have governed the frozen five — HIGH −50% hard stop, trailing exit once a peak gain reaches +30% (locks 60% of the peak), flat 1-hour exit for positions that never reach +30%, 24-hour time-stop, and the new-coin lane's −35% fast stop inside the first hour — were never evaluated today. SAFE (Donchian-20 breakout, 1.0% risk) and MEDIUM (Donchian-20, 0.5% risk) never ran either. A day with no trades is not a day with no signals. It is a day the bot was not allowed to look at them.
These are the same five HIGH positions bought on the morning of October 25. The bot has not marked them since 10:00 CDT that day, so the "last bot mark" column is now three days old — and the last bot STATUS value of $536.20 still counts USOE at its $25 entry price, because the bot never re-marked it. The dashboard guard's separate price checks are the only fresh prices, and they have to be read with their own warning attached: in the guard's 21:11 CDT local status file ($499.35), HIGH:BTC, HIGH:NEWS:XBTUSD, and HIGH:ASSETS are all priced exactly at their entries after ticker failures, so those three marks are placeholders, not prices. Only two marks in that file are fresh: HIGH:NORTH at +21.4%, and HIGH:USOE at −100%. The guard's earlier checks today tell the same mixed story — a verified publish at $476.03 at 05:20 CDT, then an unverified $504.19 at 12:00 CDT whose BTC and ASSETS marks were also entry-price fallbacks, its deploy rejected by the Vercel free-plan cap. No deploy of the 21:11 CDT file is evidenced in runs.log, which ends at 19:00 CDT, so the public dashboard may still be showing the 05:20 CDT numbers. Treat every value here as approximate until the bot marks these positions again.

The signals kept flowing; the bot just could not touch them. The live scanner data lives at ~/workspace/alphapulse/data/ and was fresh tonight: latest.json scanned at 21:23 CDT with 79 tokens, of which exactly 1 carried an igniting flag — PerpPad (Solana, 24 minutes old, potential 60, 34 points, liquidity recorded as $0, mint renounced, score climbing +15 between scans). A $0 recorded liquidity would fail every liquidity floor in the bot's rules anyway, and the bot never saw it. The hot list (hot.json, scanned 21:28 CDT) held 7 tokens and none of them were igniting: DUBBLE at potential 100 (48 points, $151,972 liquidity, +5,906% in 24h), CATBOT at 100 (50 points, $129,413 liquidity, +4,139%), FLOATER at 99 (49 points, $43,303 liquidity, +493%), jeff at 94, Tucker at 91 (49 points, 52 minutes old, $69,455 liquidity), and two more at 91 and 89. The same scan put Bitcoin at $79,906 (−1.2% in 24h), Ethereum at $2,307.30 (−2.1%), and Solana at $99.72 (−1.9%), with Fear & Greed at 51, Neutral. Social data stayed keyless all day — no CryptoPanic key, so every "why" line below rests on keyless sources only.
RawScan's signals file refreshed at 21:26 CDT with 122 signals, 12 of them at or above the bot's composite-score entry threshold of 60, topped by FLOATER at 80 (58 points, $46,596 liquidity, +583% in 24h, 1.9 hours old), followed by DUBBLE at 75 (47 points, $151,208 liquidity, +5,847% in 24h), CATBOT at 75 (51 points), STONKLANA at 75 (39 points), and jeff at 75 (36 points). None of them were evaluated by the bot, none produced a trade, and none of their scores mean anything for this run's record — a score the halted bot never saw is not a missed trade, it is just market noise on a day the book was closed. That changes nothing: with the full-stop active, the bot would have skipped the run regardless of what the scanners said.
Paper trading only. These are simulated, hypothetical results — not financial advice, and paper performance proves nothing about live trading. Most new tokens go to zero, and this run's ledger is the proof: 57 of 83 paper trades lost money. Tomorrow's diary will report whatever the bot does next — trades, another halt, or a reset — with the same numbers, win or lose.
